i mean sebaciel’s a decent pairing and all, and they have a lot of chemistry and enough UST to fill a swimming pool, AND it’s one of the most (if not the most) probable endgame pairings (though still not very likely!!) if you look at the shiptease and buildup but
a. the fans of it are generally really weird about it and like to ignore the social aspects of the victorian age and generally have no idea what they’re doing when they write things??
b. the above is often combined with people being kind of gross.
c. or bashing on pairings/characters for really ridiculous reasons.
