I just realized there is so much Aquadrama in YJ
that they could make an underwater soap opera
and I would watch it
I mean
Kaldur leads a team of idiots (harsh but occasionally fitting),
Kaldur has to report to Batman,
And he’s known since the start that he’s only a stand-in leader.
Then Kaldur confesses to a girl who does not feel the same way.
Kaldur’s under water best friend is actually with this girl.
Atlantis blows up right after this moment, and Kaldur unknowingly fights his father while still harboring anger toward Garth.
A few days later there’s conflicts between pure and impure atlantians and another attack on the Queen with her child.
Back on the surface Kaldur’s team gets pissy about him keeping a secret, when 3 of them actually keep huge secrets later on and don’t get any backlash (Really?).
Kaldur’s best friend joins the team only to bring turmoil,
Then Kaldur’s best friend turns out to be the mole,
And he aims a weapon at Kaldur,
And years later that friend is found a wandering hobo.
The girl he loves and never gets over dies.
He finds out his true father is evil.
Kaldur turns evil (temporarily?).
Aquaman believes it’s his fault for lying about Kaldur’s parents.
Lagoon Boy is making terrible fish puns.
Then there’s the question of what happened to Aquaman and Mera’s child, what the hell Garth is doing right now, and what Ocean Master did that made him lose his membership in the Light, and how Black Manta’s cheekbones are that deep.
ALSO, will Sha’ark ever be animated because I need more material to ship Shopo and make Jaws jokes?
