I remember going to a gallery exhibition once where an artist spoke and gave advice to young students to “limit their supplies” to enhance creativity or something. I’m convinced it’s true.
But anyway I wanted to buy some copic markers (because all the cool artists have those? Right? …right?) and I took the artist’s advice and only bought primaries. I didn’t even buy any skin tones. That’s how badass I am.
With only the knowledge of color theory at my disposal, I drew Sonic. I very crappy picture of Sonic. But hey, it proves my point.
