I wanted to shine just a little light on Tahno and Mako, if anyone cares.
I understand, it’s not very logical we say we love Tahno and Mako’s an ass to us. Tahno’s cheated, lied, played dirty, and indicated to be something of a manwhore. Mako, however, to alot of fans is dating the wrong girl. That’s all he’s ever been accused of.
I think it may be because Tahno does absolutely nothing to hide his jerkiness, we all know he’s the bad guy. But it’s so obvious that something we forget to even call him on it.
Mako, who’s supposed to live up to LOTS of expectations for Makorrians (Some of whom are delusional about some things, NOT ALL, but some) and whenever he does anything that isn’t perfect, they and other fans jump on him for it.
It’s wrong, I admit.
Mako has done some things that have made me lose respect for him, like kissing Korra and hiding it from Asami, not liking the idea of Bolin dating Korra because that means if something goes wrong with Asami he won’t have her to fall back on. And on top of that, that little thing he said “I think I should go for Asami” because she’s rich and pretty.
It’s just a theory, but maybe alot of fans don’t like Mako because he hits too close to home? Like, The guy we all fall for that goes for the fabulous girl instead of us. Alot of us have been through that, so it may bring up bitter feelings.
And maybe alot of people like Tahno because
he’s hotgot the potential of turning into something ELSE than just a jerk. And now that he doesn’t have the advantage of bending by his side, he may see things different. I guess we may hold out hope for Tahno, feel sorry for him (Even though he was the jerk)and he’s hot.Just my thoughts…Think of them what you may. .
Idk about hitting close to home but I guess that must be the case for some people.
Other than that, this is perfect.
