Words cannot describe how badly I need Tahno to come back and be a regular in Book 2.
If not, at least be given adequate closure to his story and (more importantly) to the audience.
Literally, I need this. And I know I’m not the only one. Plenty of people hate the character, I’m aware, but he does have an impressive fanbase and the writers would be doing themselves a disservice not to spend even a measly minute or two considering us.
When you think about it, you come to realise that Tahno currently has more character, and more narrative potential than most of the main cast. [Ex. We could’ve explored his new life as a fallen star and as someone who has lost what’s believed to be an extension of their soul. We could’ve seen the way society treated him, how he reacted and dealt with it all and how he’d changed as a person in more detail.]
Especially when you consider how he has undergone a significant amount of development, and told an entire story in his what? 5 minutes of screentime? And these 5 minutes gave us an awesome variety of intense feels. Imagine what an entire episode could accomplish. Unfortunately the way he left the series was at a disheartening, not to mention incomplete, note.
Now I don’t know about you guys, but personally, that hurt. That hurt a lot. Well actually hurt is an understatement, it’s more like a gaping hole in my chest.
They caused this. They’ve done this to us. It is their duties as writers to fulfil that gap, otherwise we’re being robbed of a really great character and a really great story and they’re robbing themselves of a really great opportunity to redeem their really bad ending to Book 1 and i think I’ve made my really stupid point.
For the Tahno haters out there, give the guy a chance. He’s slimy, not evil. just like mee
