Day 8: Saddest moment of season one
Ciel’s whole life after his kidnapping was pretty damn sad. :/ I felt bad for him, but at the same time I was always rooting for him because he was always such a calm, fearless little trooper, despite all the crap happening to him.
I think the saddest moment in the whole season was right before Ciel’s death when he’s hanging onto that bridge and Sebastian is looking down on him. They each give each other the sweetest, saddest smiles. ;_; Sebastian does so as if to say ‘It’s all over. You can rest now.’ and Ciel’s feels sort of like a ‘Thank you’. The way I see it, that sort of felt like closure. Like Ciel was happy it was all over and if he could die knowing it would be by Sebastian’s hands, then he could rest in peace. Then Ciel lets go of the bridge and smiles peacefully all the way to his watery death. ;~;
Too bad he gets trolled back to life in season 2 and has to deal with the two worst people on the planet for the following few weeks. -_-
