A new vending machine has been released which can print any book within minutes.
The Espresso Book Machine has access to 500,000 different books - the same as 23.6 miles of shelf space - and can even churn out a fresh copy of Crime and Punishment in just nine minutes.
Pages are printed at a rate of over 100 per minute and are then pressed, glued and cut to produce a pristine book.
Users simply pick the book they would like on a screen and wait for it to be printed … it certainly is a novel way of getting a new book.
Lately I haven’t been able to stop thinking about cosmetic surgery.
Not about getting it done, but more about how it works -the procedures involved, including the healing process as well as the post-op maintenance but mostly I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around what drives people to get it done.
I guess my mind keeps wandering to it because I’ve been feeling pretty ugly lately,
Inside and out.

BUT YOURE SO BEAUTIFUL VAL!! ITS THE WORLD THATS FUGLY!! D:
It has nothing to do with the world, Beck. I’ve never seen a girl and gone “I wish I looked like that!” - It’s seeing myself in a photo and thinking That’s not what I look like, that’s not how I felt at the time and I sure as hell hope that isn’t how people see me. My appearance simply doesn’t do me justice, and it’s heartbreaking to feel on top of the fucking world, try to capture that moment only to notice I look like a miserable fucking wreck, even with all my efforts. My entire day is ruined in 0.25 seconds.
I have nothing against the world, or it’s beauty ideals. This is purely personal.
